The Jester

Once upon a time

There lived a little girl

Who took a vow of loneliness

And was cast into this world.

 

Silently she prayed

As she walked

Falling into worlds,

Blindly searching for a home

All alone, this little girl.

 

Time continued on

And our girl began to grow,

Still walking, still searcing

For a home she’d never know.

 

The path was long

And she was strong

But her feet began to show

What happens when the search

Begins to wear upon your soles.

 

And as she walked

She prayed now louder than before,

God won’t you please, please lead me home

I can’t search anymore.

 

She heard nothing, not a sound;

The path was getting colder.

While she searched time had passed

And our little girl was not much older.

 

Years had gone, she walked much slower now,

She prayed with just a whisper.

How does your garden grow?

The Path of Becoming

I’ve never planted anything before in my life, of the foliage variety. I’ve planted plenty of metaphysical seeds, as I am quite the practiced manifestor, but I’ve never planted a garden. As of lately, however, I’ve been asking for new experiences that will help me connect better to my Earth mother, and so I decided to start a small garden. I bought a variety of plants, from cayenne peppers to marigolds. 

From the moment I dug my hands into the soil (just now as I was typing ‘soil’ I accidently typed ‘soul’), I could not believe I had never attempted to comprehend the magic that takes place in nature. Sure, I know how things grow, but I’ve never really thought about the meaning: Mother Earth already contains every nutrient needed within her soil/soul; a seed is planted; the seed grows roots that connect to the soil and receives what it needs from its Mother; and when it’s ready, it is born from its Earth bed, reaches its arms to the sky and says to the light, “Come on in!” And for the rest of its life, as long as it remains open and in the state of opening, it shall become its highest self. The simplicity of this magic is inspiring, and the metaphor is clear. 

Yesterday, I got my first peek at the growth taking place. Although you cannot yet distinguish the tomatoes from the sunflowers, what you can perceive is that every seed, while it waits to become, has a strong stem which holds up its leaves, reaching out in harmony with the others, asking for the light to come in. 

And so everyday, I shall take a lesson from my modest garden: I will stay grounded with strong roots connected to my Earth mother, water myself, keep my face toward the light, and remain open while I surrender to the path of becoming.

How To Pray

Pray For What To Pray For

The only thing there is to understand metaphysically, when it comes to prayer, is that the Universe basically fuctions off of two things: Love and Law.

Love: The only thing that exists. All there is is: love, highest good, light, abundance, flow, etc. Anything else is merely an  illusion. Behind the veil there is nothing but light and love. (And yes it was there the whole time.) 

Law: You will attract to yourself that which you are conscious of. 

So, effective prayer is basically nothing other than being conscious of something that is a quality of love and highest good. Things like: abundance, strength, flow, happiness, freedom, peace, etc. 

So how exactly do I use prayer to help me grow in life?

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS/VIBRATION:

1) Have a desire. Set an intention. Don’t be afraid to actually ask for something. You don’t have to write it down, you don’t have to wait until Friday, you can stop at any moment and just say out loud, “Dear Universe, I’d like to align with some more _______. Thanks!”

2) Understand that due to the rule of “Love”, as stated above, the thing you are wanting, (as long as it aligns with a quality of love), already exists. Through Gratitude of this fact, we change our consciousness—> our vibration raises —> and we attract that which we desire. (The thing about sincere Gratitude is that “gratuitude” itself is nothing other than absolute acceptance of the Truth. Gratitude says”Yes“ in the language of the Universe; it allows our Spiritual Ozone Layer to open and we can let it in.)

And while you may use this method to attract some wonderful new experiences in your life, eventually you will begin to yearn for something deeper. But you don’t know what it is. So you pray for what to pray for, and a miracle bigger than you’ve ever imagined shows up. You can’t believe how perfect it is, the timing, the quality, everything. It’s like the Universe knows exactly what you wanted and needed without you even knowing it; it’s a system so perfect it’s almost as if you designed it yourself… 

3) Surrender. Let it in. Let go of feeling like you need to pray for things all the time like money, success, lovers, etc., and begin to just pray for  your highest good, and know that your highest good contains all of those things in its infinite perfection. Without effort you shall have everything you desire. It is indeed your claim to the kingdom of heaven. 

And when you Pray For What To Pray For, be still, and let an answer come to  you. The Universe will speak directly to your heart through a feeling that you get. Once you know what it is, move into a space of Gratitude for that thing the Universe is asking you to help it manifest. This, my friends, is Co-Creation; this, my friends, is Prayer.
