I am. I feel. I become. I love. I speak. I see. I know. A Brief Explanation of The Powers of your Chakras and How to Use Them.

A Brief Explanation of The Powers of your Chakras and How to Use Them:

"Chakra" - spinning wheel of energy.

1st- I AM. Your root chakra, located at the base of your spine; it is the oldest chakra in our human evolution and it’s function is to contain survival information for you as a being, as well as connect you to the center of the Earth Mother, and bring things manifest. Energy on Earth vibrates in the realm of Creation; things come to fruition on this World just as the Earth Mother bears her fruit. When used properly, the chakra can connect you to Earth’s center and should be a pure drain from which you release all energy that does not serve you–at the Earth’s center, it burns and returns as neutral energy. Your dreams become reality when you are connected to the Earth from your first Chakra.

2nd- I feel. Your sacral chakra, located on your spine just below the belly button; it’s function is to contain information about your emotional body. It is both your ocean of existence of this Earth, as well as your compass through which you navigate the direction of your being. Emotions are meant to be felt in full, but with complete un-attachment to them, so that they may flow through you freely, with no blockage. Suppressing and ignoring, or hoarding and possession of emotions creates glitches in your ability to navigate your personal path with clarity and love. When clear, the 2nd chakra is the factory of creativity, where coals burn thoughts into ideas of self-expression.

3rd – I become. Your solar plexus; your information source of identity, sense of self, and personal power. It is from this chakra that you create in the world. Feminine 3rd chakras are so powerful that they have the ability to make babies. You can become anything from this center, but when not cleared, some of those things you can become are manipulative, controlling, and abusive to yourself and others. What energies are YOU creating in your world? What vibration are you putting out there? What are you creating…right here, right now? You become your creation.

4th- I love. Your heart center, located on the spine near the physical heart. This chakra contains all of the information you’ve collected in this lifetime, other lifetimes, and from the collective consciousness about Love. The 4th chakra was the message of the Christ, who reminded us that through the power of forgiveness, we can enter the 5th dimension, which is the Heaven on Earth. It is already here. This chakra has the power to heal by transforming or allowing energy to be whole, which it already IS. This chakra also unites Heaven on Earth and can bring your dreams to fruition through loving acceptance that you already are. It also literally has the power to transform your DNA. For realzees. Here, watch this: DNA Coding.

5th – I speak. Your throat chakra, located on your spine at your throat. This chakra contains your information about communication. Blockages in the throat chakra can create interesting physical illnesses (as with the rest of the chakras). What kind of energy do you communicate with? Are you communicating about the past, present, or future? Are you communicating with love and kindness, or anger and frustration? Can you listen? Self-expression is life, and self-expression through your 5th chakra is very powerful, mystical, and magical.

6th- I see. Your 3rd Eye, right behind your brow bone at your pineal gland, which is the center of your reality and your entire universe. The 6th chakra is one of the newest chakras, and when you can hold 100% of your attention here, you create and see everything that is real, The Truth, The Spirit, The Light. This is the only energy center on your body from which you are truly neutral, and through neutrality, you can steer your boat. Life is like a virtual reality video game, and the 6th chakra is your control panel, your cockpit, from which you access the rest of your energy body and control your life in the third dimension. Blockages here will keep you from seeing your Path on this Earth clearly. Also, blockages in your 6th will force you to operate out of your other chakras, which by nature are not neutral, and you can move into the vibration of judgement and fear, whic can illness and decay for your Mind-Body-Spirit.

7th – I know. Your Crown chakra, located at, well, your crown. This was your soft spot as a baby (makes sense now, right?) Your crown chakra has so many awe-some powers, as it is the newest product of our spiritual evolution. From your crown, you have the ability to leave your body, channel other beings, and bring Divine Light down the spine and through the body. Also, your crown chakra contains the information about your consciousness, which is actually the entire consciousness for there is only One infinite consciousness which contains all of the information of the entire consciousness in its pieces. This is our holographic universe, and from the 7th, you Know your Oneness with it. This is your enlightenment center.

Well, that’s about as Cliff Notes as I can get with the chakras. Before I go, here are some important ideas for those of you who are new to the class:

  • I used to think that the higher chakras, the more evolved chakras, were more important than the lower chakras, and I also believed the lower chakras were not as powerful because of it. Because of this belief, and because of a variety of other experiences, I spent most of my life un-grounded and outside of my body, and have spent the last 3 years working very hard to heal and open my lower chakras. The lower chakras are extremely important, and must work in balance with the entire system. In fact, total 1st/7th connection would be the ultimate state for the human being, I would think. They say a woman who is lucky enough to have a natural birth with no medicine can experience this 1st/7th Chakra unification during birth.
  • Reiki is the art of balancing and healing the chakras. You can find great Reiki practitioners in your town. You can also find places like the Reno Psychic Institute, where you can learn to be a healer, as well as learn to read chakras.
  • There are currently 7 principle chakras, as mentioned above. There are additional chakras as well; there are chakras in your hands that allow you to create, and chakras in your feet that allow you to run Earth energy through your body.
  • There are new major chakras emerging as we continue to evolve and more light begins to enter the Universe. There will soon be at least 12, and they are opening in people RIGHT NOW. Read this message from Archangel Gabriel.
  • Knowing how to run your energy and use your chakras optimally is a tool that can help you play this game of Life. Any form of energy work or education that calls to you is right for you. I highly recommend institutions like The Reno Psychic Institute, The Berkley Psychic Institute, martial arts, reiki, Matrix Energetics, and whichever books on the subject call to you. You can also receive fantastic chakra readings at RPI if that sounds like a fun and safe first step for you.

On Pain

This is a picture of rain at night. This is exactly what it looks like in my mind when someone does a Cranial-Sacral release on me.

I’ve found that once you learn how to actually BE in your body, you will inevitably confront Pain. Pain, I’ve realized, may be THE reason I’m hardly ever in my body. (In energy work, we refer to the state of being in our bodies as being “grounded”. I am hardly ever grounded, and it has been a difficult journey trying to learn how to be). So for a while I imagined that the reason I never like being in my body is because my body is in pain, so I choose to escape; or, did the Pain manifest while I was out of my body for 25 years? Hmm, I could fixate on this chicken-egg-pain analogy, and spend the rest of my life philosophizing about the nature and origin of the pain in my body, or, I can focus my attention on GETTING OUT OF PAIN!

When dealing with physical pain in the body, (and as the energies in the Universe are beginning to rapidly accelerate, we are all feeling more pain in the body), I have found that a combination of the following methods are essential to getting to the root of our pain-bodies, and not just the symptons.

Whether you pray, meditate, or use ceremony to create your world, having a Healing Consciousness is important, so make sure you are setting a clear intention to the Universe for Health, Balance, Peace within the body, etc. Whether you use affirmations of your already abundant health, prayer, or journaling, your intention needs to be clear. This way, you will begin to manifest Answers to your Pain Questions; you might notice that you suddenly discover a new kind of treatment, or maybe you release a repressed memory that has some answers for you, or you stumble upon just the right book, or class, or person.

Just now, as I was writing this, an answer came to me in the form on an Intuition. The thought said, “talk to your pain.” And I thought, Hmm, that’s a great idea.

You may not realize this, but you can talk to your body–you use your thoughts to ask questions, and allow your Intuition to bring answers.  Don’t doubt your inner voice, and always be unattached to the message. As I sit here in pain with you, I’m going to close my eyes, pay full Attention to my pain (since that’s what it wants anyway), and have a dialogue, right here, right now:

Hello, Pain.
Hello, Jessica.
I love you.
I love you, too.
Pain?
Yes?
Why did I choose you?
Because you have an agreement.
For what?
To be punished.
Who’s punishing me?
You are.
Oh. damn. My bad.
It’s ok. Just let go. Say a prayer for Forgiveness.
Ok, I forgive myself for harming myself.
I forgive myself for harming others.
Good, keep going. And BREATHE.
I forgive others for harming me.
I forgive others for harming others.
Through forgiveness of myself,
I release myself from bondage.
Through forgiveness of myself,
I release others from bondage.
Through forgiveness of others,
I release myself from bondage.
Through forgiveness of others,
I release others from bondage.
I forgive. And the Spirit of the Universe
Brings every cell in my body into the present moment
Where there is no Pain. I feel the Love of the Christ Force Energy
reset my DNA, and through forgiveness, I enter the 5th dimension.
I am safe. I am love. God Is. I Am. Amen. And So It Is.

Wow. There are no words for how light I feel right now. I just want to feel this forever. So I’ll just end this blog here.

Namaste,
The Jester

Prayer ⇒ Intuition: God’s Unlimited Data Plan

Our communication with the Divine is limitless.  However, sometimes you feel as if you’re not getting as many bars of service as you’d like to, even though you’ve just upgraded to the 4G network.

Communication with the Divine is often thought of as prayer. An answer to a prayer is manifestation. In prayer, we are asking for something, or perhaps just giving gratitude for the gifts of our life; either way, we’re asking.

The funny thing about manifestation and prayer-answering is that it is pure co-creation between Individual and Divine.  So, every time you pray (ask), you receive immediately, in the form of an idea, a feeling, an emotion, or a knowingness. You talk to God through prayer; God talks to you through intuition. Are you listening?

Your job does not end at Prayer. You have more work to do. You must listen. Then, you must take action. As you continue to create, the Universe matches you 100%, usually more.  (Talk about a great 401(k) plan, am I right?)

How to get better 4God Service: self-discipline.

-Meditation

-Water

-Exercise

-Cleanse: body, mind, spirit, closet, and inbox.

Don’t be afraid to call whenever you’d like. You are a child of this Universe, and you inherit the Kingdom. There’s nothing too small or too big…a new job, a new relationship, world peace. There’s also nothing too personal or too superficial. The Universe never misses or drops a call. I could keep going with these phone-analogies, but my intuition is telling me to stop.

With Love, Light and Laughter,

The Jester

Distraction and The Ego (and “Responsibility”)

If Ego were a super villian, one of its many powers would be Distraction. The ol’ Smoke and Mirrors trick; the Art of believing in our own lie. The result: becoming our own lie. Then you look around at your life and think, Something’s not right.

Ego says, “Look over here, while I whisper sweet nonsense in your ear, and then I shall dissappear, having planted in you the seeds of fear. Good luck!”

You’ve created all this catastrophe, but you don’t really remember doing it, and you definitely can’t believe that you would ever have created something so negative. This certainly can not be your fault.

But I have great news for you–it is all your fault. Isn’t that fantastic?!

If it’s all your fault, then you get to fix it. Don’t let Ego distract you from what you know you should be thinking, feeling, and how you should be behaving. Don’t let Ego distract you from the reality right in front of you, and definitely don’t allow Ego to distract you from whose fault it is. Sometimes, the more objectively “not-your-fault” it seems, the more you should really be digging deeper to find what’s really going on behind the Curtains.

And right as you are about to see something for what it is, Ego will at last try to convince you that taking sudden responsibility for your life is the same as admitting that you haven’t been doing it all along; you’ve been doing some wrong, and Ego tells you that this is the most horrible thing you could ever find out about yourself. So then, in defiance, you say, “I will NOT change! Changing would imply that I need to change in the first place, and I certainly am not the one that needs to change! And to prove it, I won’t change at all. So there.”

Don’t fall for it! This is nothing more than a simple distraction from the Truth that it is okay to take responsibility for your life. You are not a victim.  You are not a perpetrator. Admitting you were wrong, taking responsibility, seeking forgiveness and personal growth are powerful, God-like experiences that will both humble you and empower you. Please keep in mind that Responsibility has 3 steps: Admitting that you have messed up; Forgiveness of yourself, and requesting forgiveness from others; and, Becoming your new self completely.

This 3rd step is key; how can you change your life if you don’t change your life? You know what I’m sayin’?

Simply shine your light of consciousness on your Ego self, and reveal the grand trickster for what he is. Ahh, good game, my friend. This was fun, but I’m gonna take my ball and go Home now.

With Love, Light, and certainly an infinite amount of Laughter,

Learning to Live Consciously (do this now)

After Sunday service this morning, I spent a lot of time thinking about some of my deeper personal goals. One of them is to live my life with complete integrity. Integrity to me means living a life where your actions are in complete alignment with your values. The alternative is a life of dissonance where your actions are not in line with your values; so, the choice becomes: change your actions, or change your values.

Living life consciously means that everything you do is based off of your value system, whether you are  a person or an organization. Before making any decision, big or small, one must first reference one’s value system, and only then move forward. Growth is impossible where there is no consistent belief system.

Therefore, if you have never outlined your core values before, STOP EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW. Do not more forward with your life until you have done this. Just stop, and take the next few minutes to jot down what you believe your top ten personal values are in this moment (and if “Growth” isn’t one of them, then you’re free to go, it’s only relevant to procede with this exercise if you value growth).

Once you’ve written at least a rough draft of your values, memorize them or carry them around with you. If at some point on your journey of growth, you look down and realize that you no longer feel connected to a value you have held so strongly, THEN CHANGE IT. Your values will probably always be evolving as you evolve, there’s no need to become attached to them, but you will need a navigation system if you want to live your life consciously.

As of this moment, here at mine (Everything after the first two are “in no particular order”):

SpiritualGrowth, Love, Honesty, Openness, Creativity, Integrity,

Adventure, Humility, Self-Reliance, Humor, Faith, Self-Expression, Forgiveness…

Now, when it comes to making decisions in my life, big or small, I can simply refer to value system; should I go down path X? Is that path in alignment with those things outlined above? It’s a simple yes or no, really.

It seems so obvious, right? All of the great leaders out there have not only said the same thing before, but truly live their life that way.

Obsessed with Transformation

Why are we so obsessed with transformation? We love shows like Biggest Loser, MTV’s Made, Extreme Home Makeover, Hoarders, and my most recent obsession, A&E’s “Heavy”. All of these shows are about someone’s quest for personal transformation. In America most of these shows have to do with weight loss, but shows like “Made” and Extreme Home Makeover are about transformation in general. What is it we are seeking? Do we just simply love an inspirational true story? Or is there something deeper inside of us all the resonates with the idea of transformation itself?

I realized over the weekend, while at a Seminars That Inspire workshop with transformational master Dale Halaway, that theatrical improv is nothing other than transformation. Throughout any given improv scene the characters, story lines, plot, and setting can transform in nothing shorter than a mere moment. By adhering to the one main rule of improvisation, which is to never say “no”, the seen naturally transforms and humor ensues without effort.

Dale once commented that “when the learning process stops the aging process beings.” Is it possible that the elixir to life is to never stop learning, and therefore never stop transforming?

When in comes to personal transformation, and I’m talking the real deal here meaning the transformation of one’s MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT-I realized that there are 3 types of people in this world: The people who live their life completely unconsciously, with no desire to look within and heal the uglier aspects of themselves in order to transform; The people who are actively curious about transformation but are doing just the bare minimum they need to do in order to change–they may keep up appearances of healing but are unconsciously sabotaging the healing process by not going deeper to examine their real behavior (most people don’t make it beyond this stage simply because ego can get really tricky here and make you believe that you are growing when you’re not)–I know this stage quite well, we used to be really good friends; and lastly, the people who examine the darkest pieces of themselves on a daily basis, and work through the really hard stuff with gentleness and humility in order to heal, heal, heal…transform, transform, transform.

Which person are you? Would you friends agree?

Comments welcomed.

Top 5 personal Accomplishments of 2010

While pondering/reflecting on 2011′s early personal accomplishments, I realized I had never even thought about 2010′s year-wide.  So here are my top 5 accomplishments I can even remember for 2010:

1) Producing and starring in my first original musical, with the comedy troupe I created two years ago, and playing to a crowd of 250 people inside the beautiful ballroom of a casino that didn’t shut down a week before opening. All of this was co-created alongside of about 10 of my best friends, who also happen to be 10 of the most talented and creative people I know. No big deal. http://www.utilityplayerscomedy.com all the way :)

2) The Utility Players being voted Best Comedy Troupe in Reno; as well as 2nd Best Podcast in Reno. (I never thought I would get this into audio production, but I love it, and I rock).

3)  Convincing Best friend, Ariel Lea, to move to Reno, and accomplishing everything we set out to do, including: Write original musical, take Utility Players to the next level, and produce original demo album. Check, check, check.

4) Finishing my second year of classes at Circle’s Edge – Center For Spiritual Living (on my way to being a pracitioner, and eventually Minister). Also being the youngest member elected to the Board.

5) Manifesting the best house ever, and, playing with hundreds of pumpkins on a daily basis

Once Upon A Time (I Surrender)

This is a song I wrote with Ariel Lea. Click here to stream it, or download for free to iTunes. Then just click on “Once Upon A Time” in the podcast channel called Mind Melodies.

Here are the lyrics. Be blessed,

The Jester

Once upon a time

There lived a little girl

Who took a vow of loneliness

And was cast into this world.

Silently she prayed

As she walked

Falling into worlds,

Blindly searching for a home

All alone, this little girl.

Time continued on

And our girl began to grow,

Still walking, still searcing

For a home she’d never know.

The path was long

And she was strong

But her feet began to show

What happens when the search

Begins to wear upon your soles.

And as she walked

She prayed now louder than before,

God won’t you please, please lead me home

I can’t search anymore.

She heard nothing, not a sound;

The path was getting colder.

While she searched time had passed

And our little girl was not much older.

Years had gone, she walked much slower now,

She prayed with just a whisper.

I can’t search any longer;

My feel our done, God,

I surrender.

Yoga Union

I’ve known on an intellectual level that yoga, which means “union”, is supposed to be an opportunity for your body to become empty so that it can unite earth energy with the heavens, and divine energy with the earth. But it wasn’t until lately, and I’m assuming because of the healer/energy worker classes I’ve been taking, that I was finally able to see and feel that this is what is truly happening during yoga, with the proper intention of course.

It’s delicious. I highly recommend it.
